Van and Man Cardiff is a man and van service covering Cardiff and the surrounding areas. We move homes, shift furniture, collect purchases and clear flats and houses, without the cost and rigmarole of a large removals company.
Moving anything in Cardiff is harder than it should be. How we price
One fixed figure, agreed before we start, based on what is moving and the access at both ends. It does not change on the day. There is no hourly meter climbing while a wardrobe is negotiated round a landing, and nothing appears on the invoice that was not in the quote. For genuinely open-ended jobs we will offer an hourly rate instead and tell you which way round works out cheaper for you.
We publish indicative prices for every size of job rather than making you ask, because the first thing anyone wants to know is whether this is a hundred pound job or a five hundred pound one. Those are planning ranges rather than quotes, so the figure for your job comes back once we have the details.
What we will tell you plainly
If your job needs two trips, we say so when we quote rather than discovering it with half your things still in the hall. If we think a skip or the council bulky collection is cheaper than paying us, we will say that too. If something we are asked to move is beyond what one van and two people can do safely, we would rather turn the work down than damage your things proving otherwise.
The same applies to what we find. If what turns up on the day is materially different from what was described, we tell you before we load and agree the change with you. Nothing gets added quietly afterwards.
If something goes wrong
Things get carried up stairs and round corners by people, so occasionally something gets marked. Tell us on the day or as soon as you find it and we will make sure it is put right. A business that only answers the phone before it has been paid is not one worth booking, and we would rather sort a problem than argue about one.
