Man and Van in Llandaff

Llandaff has plenty of substantial period and detached houses, so full home removals are a mainstay of our work here. We bring a properly sized van and enough hands, wrap everything carefully for the older homes and aim to move it in one trip.

The narrow lanes and streets around the cathedral green can be tight for a van, so we plan the stopping point in advance and keep the carry short. On the newer streets towards Danescourt the access is easier and the move runs quicker.

The larger Llandaff houses tend to hold at least one thing that is not a normal lift: an upright piano, a dresser that came in before the doorway was narrowed, a long case clock, a heavy mirror. These are not impossible, they just need the right number of people, the right kit and the time allowed for them rather than squeezed in at the end of a load.
