These terms cover your use of this website and the service Van and Man Cardiff provides in arranging your move. They set out who is responsible for what, which is worth two minutes of your time before you book anything.

How the service is arranged

Van and Man Cardiff takes your enquiry and arranges your move. The moving work itself is carried out by a local firm we work with rather than by us directly: they hold the vans, the crew, the insurance and any licences the job requires.

We do not charge you anything for arranging it, and you are under no obligation to accept a price you receive through us.

Who you contract with

Your agreement for the move itself is between you and the firm carrying it out, not between you and us. That covers the price, the payment terms, the date, cancellation, and anything that goes wrong on the day, including loss or damage. Ask them for their own terms before you book, and read them.

If insurance cover or a waste carrier registration matters to your job, ask for it directly and check it, rather than relying on anything written on this website.

Prices shown on this site

The figures on our prices pages are indicative ranges to help you plan, based on what jobs of each size typically cost in Cardiff. They are not quotes and they are not offers. Only the price you are given for your own job is binding.

Information you give us

Please give accurate details about the job, including what is moving, the access at both ends and the distance. A price based on a rough description will change if what turns up on the day is materially different, and that is settled with the crew before anything is loaded.

We pass the details you submit to the firm carrying out the work so they can contact you and price it. How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.

We keep the information here accurate and current as far as we reasonably can, but we do not guarantee that every figure or description is complete or up to date. Nothing on this site is professional advice.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights against the mover under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
