Man and Van in Rhiwbina

Some of the older streets here were laid out long before anything the size of a Luton, and a few have the trees and the parked cars to prove it. We pick the van to the street rather than the other way round, which occasionally means two runs in a smaller vehicle and a smoother day than one run in something that cannot turn.

The railway runs through Rhiwbina and the level crossing can hold traffic at the wrong moment, which matters when a van is booked in a slot at the other end. We build the timing around it rather than treating the drive as a straight line on a map.

Plenty of the work here is short: Rhiwbina to Whitchurch, up to Thornhill, or across to Llanishen. Those are quick enough that the price stays modest, and we can often fit a second job the same day. Heading further, the A470 and the M4 are close, so moves north or east run cleanly from here.
