Man and Van in Cathays

Most Cathays jobs are one room from a shared terrace: a bed, a desk, boxes and a couple of suitcases. We bring a van sized for that rather than a great lorry, which keeps the cost down and the job to one trip. When housemates all move the same week, we can often combine runs and split the cost.

The streets off Crwys and Woodville Road run on resident permits and fill quickly, so a van needs a planned stopping point. Come July and August the whole area moves at once, so we book early and keep the carry short and legal.

Cathays tenancies rarely line up. Yours ends at the start of July and the next one does not start until September, which leaves a load of furniture and no room to put it. We can run it to a storage unit and bring it back out when the new place is ready, priced as one job with two legs rather than two separate moves.

If you are going home for the summer and only need a few things kept, say so when you ask. A part load into storage costs a good deal less than moving the lot twice.
